Course Paperwork & Award Processing

As part of the SLSNSW Registered Training Organisation, the Branch is committed to ensuring compliancy in all areas of Education to ensure awards are allocated to our members appropriately. A major part of that is in regard to paperwork.

For club-run courses, such as Surf Rescue Certificate, Bronze Medallion, IRB Crew and Silver Medallion Driver awards, it is the Training Officer’s responsibility to ensure the paperwork is correct. This includes the following:

  1. Use the most current versions of all forms, Learner Guides, training manuals and Delivery & Assessment Guides
  2. Ensure all Assessment Portfolios are completed by the candidates and signed properly by the assessors at the time of assessment
  3. Provide all mandatory paperwork to the Branch office within 14 days of the assessment being completed

More detailed information on paperwork requirements can be downloaded here.

The latest versions of all forms can be found on the SLSNSW website here.

The latest versions of course Learner Guides are available to all SLSA members from the Library within their Members Portal login.

The latest versions of Delivery & Assessment Guides are available to all endorsed Trainers, Assessors and Facilitators within the Restricted Resources section of the Library within their Members Portal login.

SRC and Bronze Medallion assessor sign-off pages can be found within the awards Learner Guides for each award. Alternatively, you can download copies of the assessor sign-off pages below. Training Officers are reminded that all SRC and Bronze Medallion candidates are required to complete the Candidate Confirmation on page 2 of the assessor sign-off.
