SNB Assessors Guidelines
Please find attached SNB Assessors Guidelines – Version 4. The attached Guidelines have been put together and reviewed by Senior Branch Assessors. The Guidelines are intended as a guide for all Trainers, Assessors and Chief Instructors and will be updated as the system is fine-tuned. It is hoped these guidelines will eliminate any confusion with the training and assessment of candidates and will explain the procedures for organising and attending Central Venues for the Dry and Wet components of Bronze and SRC Assessments.

IRB proficiencies and assessments.
  • All assessments must be booked through the office advising assessors at least one week prior to the assessment. This will allow other Clubs to join your assessment and also allow for our probationary assessors to know these are on and plan to attend.
  • IRB Crew assessments can be conducted by one assessor. This can be an internalClub assessor as per previous years.
  • All IRB Driver assessments must be conducted by an assessor external to the Club.
  • IRB driver and crew proficiencies can be conducted by one assessor in-house as per previous years.
Only assessors who have already completed the assessors update at Nth Palm Beach can assess these awards. A list of these assessors is available by contacting Sandy of the office.
