Parking Permits - Active Members
Warringah and Pittwater Councils have agreed to provide Parking Permits free of charge to actively patrolling members. Clubs need to apply for these on behalf of members who require them in the following way:
Warringah Council
At the beginning of the season each Warringah Club will be asked to provide:
- A list of approved signatories who are authorised by the Club to apply for Parking stickers on behalf of the members
- The total number of members from the preceding year
The Club will then find out the required detail from its members requiring stickers and complete and sign the “Community Groups Beach Parking Permit” form and send in to Warringah Council
Once these requests have been processed by Council, the Parking Permits will be posted directly to the Club for them to distribute to the appropriate members.

Pittwater Council
- At the beginning of the season the Club needs to find out from the members requiring permits the following details:
- Members name
- Residential address
- Vehicle registration number
- The reason the member needs a permit (out of area, non-rate payer, more than two cars in the family)
The Club will then need to put this detail on a spreadsheet and email to the Branch office – sandy@surflifesaving.net.au. These will then be passed on to Pittwater Council for processing. Once the Council has processed the request and the permits are available, you will be notified by email that they are ready to collect from the Boondah Depot – 1 Boondah St Warriewood.
