High Performance

SLSSNB has been actively working on the evolution of a high performance pathway in surf sports for talented athletes aspiring to represent the Branch, State and/or Australia.

Former Director of Surf Sports Michael Bate created a high performance squad a couple of years this program continues to evolve. From this squad comes the Interbranch representative team that competes at the Interbranch Championships in December every year. Furthermore, opportunity exists for individuals and boat crews, to represent at much higher levels but selection criteria differs at every level.

Whilst this criteria changes on a regular basis, the following pages will give the you the most up to date policies and criteria for selection at every level.
